Folc; noun (Old English) people, tribe and family.

Winemaking in England has a long and rich history, dating as far back as the Roman times when Emperor Claudius began the great conquest of Britain in AD 43. However, it wasn’t until the late 1980s that the English wine scene really started to come of age and until very recently gain recognition on a global stage.

Anyway, enough of the history lesson… Just as the evolution of English wine has brought quality English wine into the fold, we acknowledge that our customers' values are evolving with our ever-changing world and that wine should reflect this. That’s why we created Folc – to produce quality English wine with a modern mindset.

So what does all that mean I hear you ask? Well let us explain...
