The English Coupe Collection
Legend holds that the original Champagne coupe was modelled on the breast of the infamous French queen, Marie Antoinette. We thought: Folc it - let’s reinterpret the tradition with an unmistakably English sensibility.
In collaboration with renowned British artists Lydia Reeves and Phoebe Stubbs, we created a collection that is both sculptural and intimate. Each hand-blown glass coupe is cast from the form of a real British woman - a celebration of individuality, craftsmanship, and the female body in its purest expression.
Our debut collection of glasses sold out within minutes, and due to the delicate, handcrafted nature of the glasses, we will now be offering them on a commission-only basis.

Why The Project
Because we don't do things by the rules. We don't care what glass you drink from. We don't care about stuffy wine traditions. And we definitely don't care about following in the French footsteps.
This project is about celebrating real people. Real bodies. Real diversity. Women of different backgrounds, different shapes, neurodiverse experiences, ethnic minorities - all empowered to become the agents of their own narrative.
No two glasses are the same. Because no two bodies are the same. Different shapes. Different sizes. Scars. Stretch marks. Every single one tells a story.
Functional art (or artistic function?)
These aren't just pretty things to look at. They're glasses you can actually drink from! Pour your Folc into a piece shaped by someone's actual body, someone's actual story.
Each glass is highly individual. One of a kind. Made through trials, tribulations, and a lot of figuring things out. The result? Something beautiful and unusual that promises to be a conversation starter at any dinner party!
From Concept to Creation
The journey from idea to finished product was one of collaboration, experimentation, and persistence. It began with finding the right artists, and we’re incredibly proud to have worked with body-casting artist Lydia Reeves and glassblower Phoebe Stubbs, whose creative vision aligned perfectly with celebrating real women’s bodies.
Each model was carefully selected to represent a different narrative, and every one of them stepped outside their comfort zone to have their body cast. The real challenge came during production: transforming raw, organic casts into functional hand-blown glass. What followed were countless rounds of experimentation — testing materials, troubleshooting structural issues, and exploring new techniques to honour each woman’s form while ensuring the pieces worked as elegant, functional glassware.
After many long days of trial, error, and refinement, the team achieved what once felt impossible: a collection of unique, beautiful coupes that serve as both art and object, each telling the story of the woman who inspired it.
